CAL SOUTH APPROVES FIRST ADULT LEAGUES

City of Los Angeles Municipal Sports highlights list of first adult league approvals

May 15, 2009 (Fullerton, CA) - In less than a week after posting the new Adult League Application, the Cal South Board of Directors has approved its first three leagues for the 2009-2010 seasonal year. The approved leagues include the City of Los Angeles Municipal Sports Adult Soccer programs, Laguna Niguel Football Association and the Copa Cabana Beach Soccer League.

"We are excited to get started and happy to have the City of Los Angeles Municipal Sports as our first approved adult league," states John Weinerth, Chief Executive Officer of Cal South. "We have upwards of ten league applications in process and anticipate approving around five new leagues on a weekly basis moving forward.

"The fact that we already have a beach soccer league approved and are in discussions with other beach leagues, futsal programs, women's leagues and several other city programs aligns us well towards launching with a diverse spectrum of adult programs. Our tag line of All Ages, All Skill Levels drives us towards that."
